B. William (Bill) Cleveland III, MBA, CPA, CFP®, PFS bwc@preston-cleveland.com Bill brings to his clients impressive credentials and experience. He graduated magna cum laude from the The University of Georgia with a B.B.A. in Accounting and later he completed his M.B.A. in Personal Financial Planning from Georgia State University. Prior to founding P&C, Bill gained valuable experience working in Atlanta with one of the largest fee-only financial planning and investment advisory firms in the Southeast. The firm specialized in services to clients with investable assets over $2,000,000. Bill had the opportunity to co-manage in excess of $100 million dollars. Bill's previous experience also includes working as a Senior Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, focusing on clients in the insurance, telecom, and investment and mutual fund industries. Bill is frequently mentioned in national publications. In 2006, 2008, and 2010 Medical Economics magazine named him one of the "150 Best Financial Advisers for Doctors". Bill also serves as a guest columnist for Medical Economics magazine and writes a monthly column for the Medical Examiner. In addition, Bill has been widely quoted in Newsweek, Money, Financial Planning, as well as interviewed by NBC news and CBS news. He is in demand as a guest speaker, having lectured at the University of Georgia JM Tull School of Accounting. He is also a popular speaker for community and professional groups on financial and investment planning topics. Because Bill enjoys teaching and helping young people understand the importance of making sound financial decisions, he has volunteered in the Georgia Society of CPAs mentorship program and other pro bono events sponsored by NAPFA and the AICPA. Bill relishes his time with his family, wife, and his son and enjoys traveling and spending time at the beach.
