Sheila worked for 22 years in the Social Security Administration where she received numerous awards for her performance. As a Claims Representative, she determined eligibility for benefits, calculated payment amounts, processed claims, conducted staff training, and became an expert in Elder Care issues. During her career, she interviewed tens of thousands of claimants, providing them with a clearer picture of their Social Security options. Sheila received a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Brooklyn College. Her experience with retirement, survivor, disability and Medicare claims adds great value to her presentation of the Mares Nichols CPE program "Social Security Benefits: Advising Clients".
