Mr. Hewett began building luxury homes in Atlanta in 1988, vowing to always "do what we say we will do." Hundreds of homes and thousands of homeowners later, Monte Hewett maintains a reputation for treating customers with respect and integrity while offering them fresh yet lasting designs, superior craftsmanship and a builder to depend on for a lifetime. Mr. Hewett served as vice president and division manager for Highland Homes in Atlanta from 1988-2000. He started Monte Hewett Homes LLC in 2000, and started Monte Hewett Homes of Florida LLC in 2002. The company ranked in the top three in customer satisfaction among Atlanta home builders by JD Power and Associates in 2003. Hewett won Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Southeast in 2005.
