Myriam Quispe-Agnoli

Myriam Quispe-Agnoli is a research economist and assistant policy adviser with a doctorate in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her work includes studies that emphasize the effects of currency substitution on the development of the financial system and the credibility of stabilization policies in Latin America. Prior to joining the bank in 2000, she was an assistant professor in economics and Latin American studies at Tulane University. She has also worked as an economist at the Financial Corporation for Development of Peru. A native of Lima, Peru, she received her bachelor's degree from the Universidad Católica del Per•.
