Ken MacKenzie

Kenneth F. MacKenzie, MCBA, FIBA SouthEast Business Appraisal Corp./Boynton Beach, Florida Kenneth MacKenzie is President of a local consulting firm and Emeritus of the Institute of Business Appraisers with over 35 years of successful business experience. He has had the responsibility of buying, selling, and valuing/appraising businesses, marketing effectiveness consulting, and appraisals for legal and financial purposes. Mr. MacKenzie has read or reviewed in excess of 1000 business appraisals submitted by clients for litigation purposes and candidates attempting to earn the designation, Certified Business Appraiser. He has been actively involved in sales and acquisitions of products and companies; conducting market research projects; managing financial operations; strategic planning; engineering; and wholesale distribution and manufacturing functions within the office equipment and high-tech industries. He was a key negotiator of product and trade agreements between several Fortune 500 companies and industrial/business contacts in Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, Denmark, France and Switzerland. Mr. MacKenzie is a former faculty member of the Rochester Institute of Technology and University of Connecticut where he taught international marketing, professional selling and industrial organization and management. He is frequently an invited speaker and contributing writer for business publications, advocacy programs and seminars. He has been quoted in various publications including Forbes, Inc. Magazine, Medical Economics, Venture Magazine, and Florida business newspapers. He has also spoke at Inc. Magazine's National Conference for executives and business owners. He is accredited by the Institute of Business Appraisers, Inc. as a Master Certified Business Appraiser. He is also a member of the American Arbitration Association, The Financial Management Association, The Licensing Executive Society and the ACG and ESOP Associations.
