John R. Armour is managing partner for the firm of CBIZ Accounting, Tax & Advisory Services, Denver, CO. His practice specializes in the construction industry. Armour is a frequent instructor for the Colorado Society of CPAs and has taught construction industry accounting and taxatin programs nationally. He is the author of Colorado-produced Construction Industry: Advanced Accounting Services, and Contruction Industry: Accounting and Auditing and Federal Taxation of Construction Contractor's. He has lectured for the construction industry's professional organizations and is a member of the Construction Financial Management Association and teh Associated General Contractors of America National Tax and Fiscal Affairs Committee. He serves on the AICPA National Construction Conference Committee and is a regular presenter at the AGC/CFMA National Construction Conference. He is on the editorial board of the Journal of Construction Accounting and Taxation. Armour received a BBA in accounting from the University of North Texas. He is also founder and president of the Hard Hat Construction Group, Inc.
