Michael P. Salazar, CPA, Enrolled Age
Michael has over twenty three years of experience in corporate and public accounting. His education includes a Bachelors of Business Administration, with an emphasis in Accounting, from Augusta State Univerity and a Masters of Business Administration from Brenau University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and an enrolled agent with the Internal Revenue Service. Michael is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Tax Practitioners, the National Society of Accountants and past president of the Georgia Association of Accountants and Tax Professionals. For several years, Michael has maintained an active role on the State Regulatory Oversight Committee (SROC) of the National Society of Accountants. This committee analyzes pending federal and state legislation to assess the impact on accounting and tax laws and regulations. In 2009 Michael was named "Accountant of the Year" by the Georgia Association of Accountants and Tax Professionals.
