Dan Smith
Dan Smith, CPA – Partner Dan joined PFC in 2004 and spent several years as the lead on client engagements with hedge funds, venture capital and private equity funds, fund of funds, and other special interest funds. Since 2010 Dan's focus has shifted to business development and client relations for the firm while still actively working with and advising the firm's managers on client engagements. Dan's background includes CFO roles with startup and technology companies, and controller positions with a division of a Fortune 100 healthcare technology company, a private equity financed industry leading plastics manufacturer, and a large, privately held international paper and packaging company. He began his career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen in Atlanta and graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.S. in Accountancy in 1991.
