Barbara S. Dwyer
Barbara S. Dwyer, CPA, is a sole practitioner in New York. She has worked in public accounting for 30 years. Her practice, which has been established for 16 years, is a general practice servicing small closely held businesses, nonprofit audits, individual taxation and planning issues, and estate and financial planning. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA) and is currently a member of the PAC Committee for the New York Society of CPAs. She was also a prior president for the Adirondack Chapter of the NYSSCPA and currently serves as Chapter Secretary. Ms. Dwyer's prior experience includes working for a regional accounting firm whose practice focused on Canadian subsidiary manufacturing companies with transborder accounting and tax issues. She received her bachelor's degree from Ithaca College, and her master's in business administration/accounting from the University of Vermont
