David McReynolds
David H. McReynolds, CPA Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center/Knoxville, Tennessee Dave McReynolds has more than 20 years experience in health care administration and finance in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. Currently he is Vice President and CFO for Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, an affiliate of Covenant Health, which is an integrated health delivery system and one of the largest healthcare providers in east Tennessee. He was a key participant in the creation of Covenant Senior Health, which was added to his management portfolio. Covenant Senior Health is an innovative approach to the delivery of a comprehensive array of inpatient and outpatient health care services for people over age 55 that combines traditional medicine with behavioral health services. Over the past 14 years he has held senior level executive positions that have included broad operations management responsibilities. He was recently a finalist for the Mental Health Association's Diamond Award. Dave is a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and a certified managed care professional. He has been a member of the Board of Examiners for the Tennessee Quality Award, the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Association for Child Care and is a past President of the East Tennessee Chapter. He is also a member of the AICPA, the American Hospital Association, the Tennessee Hospital Association, the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He has served on numerous local, state and national committees and task forces dealing with issues such as health care services for the indigent, special education services in public schools, and capital payments under the Medicare prospective payment system. He has developed and taught a number of courses dealing with healthcare financial issues.
