John H. Scott III, CPA
Trey Scott is a CPA and Partner with Mauldin & Jenkins in the Firm's Savannah, GA, office. Trey works in the governmental practice of Mauldin & Jenkins with his experience covering a wide variety of state and local governments in Georgia, Florida and South Carolina. After graduating from Austin College (Sherman, Texas) in 2003, Trey attended graduate school at the University of West Georgia and obtained his Master of Professional Accountancy degree in 2008. Trey joined the Macon office of Mauldin & Jenkins in August of that year. He has been licensed as a certified public accountant (CPA) since 2010 and is currently licensed to practice in the States of Georgia and Florida. Trey is involved in a variety of organizations to both support the governmental industry and to promote the CPA profession overall. Trey is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Georgia Society of CPA's, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Government Finance Officer's Association, the Georgia Government Finance Officers Association (GGFOA), and the Florida Government Finance Officer's Association. He teaches at Mauldin & Jenkins client CPE and numerous governmental conferences annually, in Georgia and Florida.
