Charles Williamson
Charles Williamson joined the faculty at Georgia Southern University in 2011 after 34 years of diversified accounting, finance, business and investigative experience – most recently as Special Agent in Charge of the Tax Fraud Investigations Division of the State of New Mexico. He has been a CPA for 33 years and is currently licensed in the states of Texas and New Mexico. His white collar crime investigative experience includes tax fraud, embezzlement, bribery, and public corruption. He has served as an expert witness on tax and accounting matters in state district courts in Texas and New Mexico. In addition to being a CPA, Mr. Williamson is a Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified in Financial Forensics. He was an adjunct faculty member at the University of New Mexico's Anderson School of Management, where he taught a graduate tax course.
