Lori Evers, CPA

Lori Evers, CPA, has a strong background in the tax area. She graduated with honors from the University of Tampa, with a double major in Accounting and Arts Management. She has been involved in public accounting since 1980, having spent four years working as the Tax Manager for a large, local C.P.A. firm before the formation of Evers and Fox, which merged with Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC in 2011. Currently, Lori is President of the Georgia Federal Tax Conference and Chairs the Estate Planning Conference for the Georgia Society of CPAs. She is also Co-Chairing the 2013 and 2014 Balser Symposium. Lori is a member of the Philanthropic Services Advisory Committee for The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, The Professional Advisory Council for The Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, The Philanthropic Advisor Leadership Institute Advisory Committee, and The Atlanta Estate Planning Council. She received the 2012 Public Service Award from the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Lori is past Chair of the Taxation Committee for the Georgia Society of CPAs, and the Atlanta Tax Study Association. She has served on the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant's Tax Practice and Procedure Committee. Lori's emphasis is on individual tax planning and preparation, executive compensation and stock option planning, trust and estate taxation, tax litigation and collections.
