Chip Brown is a principal of Willamette Management Associates, a national business valuation and financial advisory firm. He provides valuation and financial advisor (opinion) services to closely held business owners, business executives, professional practitioners, and to high net worth individuals. He typically works with (and through) the legal and/or tax advisers for these individuals. In particular, Chip provides business, business interest, and security valuation services for such purposes as ownership transition, financial reporting and tax compliance, and ESOP transactions. He also performs forensic and dispute advisory services for various litigation related purposes. Chip is a certified public accountant (CPA), chartered financial analyst (CFA), certified valuation analyst (CVA), and a chartered global management accountant (CGMA). He is accredited in business valuation (ABV) and certified in financial forensics (CFF) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He holds a bachelor of science in management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a master of science in accounting from the University of Virginia.
