Phillip G. Sanders, MSHA, CPA, is President of Georgia ElderCare Advisors, one of the nation's first CPA ElderCare companies providing EIderCare Planning, Personal Finance for Seniors, and Long-Term Care Insurance to Georgia families. A leader in the emerging field of CPA ElderCare Services, Phil is one of the i2 members of an elite ElderCare Task Force consisting of ElderCare specialists from both the United States and Canada. The ElderCare Task Force - under the auspices of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) - has been charged with the responsibility of increasing awareness of the benefits provided by ElderCare specialists to other professional advisors and to the general public. Phil is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Georgia, a member of the American Institute of CPAs and a Fellow in the Georgia Society of CPAs. His background includes more than 10 years as a senior administrator in the healthcare industry, including positions at several large not-for-profit healthcare systems, and as Executive Director of a physician group practice. Phil received his Bachelor of Science and M.B.A. degrees from Louisiana State University, and earned his Master of Science in HealthCare Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He completed his residency in healthcare administration at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida. Phil is a licensed insurance broker in the state of Georgia, and is "Certified in Long-Term Care"- a designation affiliated with and endorsed by the College for Financial Planning. Most importantly, Phil is an advisor to his clients, helping Georgia seniors and their families make good decisions about the difficult financial issues associated with aging.
