Anthony P. Valduga, CPA

Tony is a Senior Manager in PwC's Banking and Capital Markets group. Tony has over 9 years of experience in public accounting and has advised clients with a diverse industry base including commercial and retail lending institutions, mortgage lenders, investment banks, broker-dealers and specialty finance companies Tony has been with PricewaterhouseCoopers since 2000, having spent several years serving and leading banking related assurance engagements including a top 10 commercial and retail financial institution. In addition to serving traditional assurance clients, Tony has been working with both Corporate and Private equity clients providing M&A and Advisory related services to a broad range of financial services clients throughout the US. Recently, Tony has developed a specific focus in assisting clients with the acquisition and integration of troubled financial institutions through FDIC assisted transactions. Tony has assisted clients in performing pre-acquisition due diligence of troubled financial institutions including the evaluation of financial projections and regulatory capital levels. Tony also has significant experience in assisting our clients in the integration and post-acquisition accounting for acquired financial institutions through FDIC assisted transactions. This includes assisting clients design and implement complex sustainable systems and processes which are used to account for impaired loans and track guaranteed losses for submission to the FDIC. Tony graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. degree in management and is a certified public accountant.
