Walt specializes in creating customized wealth transfer plans for affluent families. These strategies include combining life insurance with appropriate transfer strategies to meet the objectives of the families. As a CFP® practitioner, he provided comprehensive financial planning advice to high net worth families covering all financial aspects including investment, income tax, and estate matters. As an Enrolled Agent with the IRS, he also prepared income and gift tax returns. Walt has taught graduate level courses for Georgia State's Risk Management & Insurance department. He has also held teaching positions at Emory University and Oglethorpe University. Walt received a BS in management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He continued his graduate studies at Georgia State University earning two degrees—a Master of Taxation and Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning.
