Jessica A. Cohan, J.D.

Jessie Cohan is a shareholder of Djuric Spratt P.A. Her practice focuses on wealth transfer, business succession, family governance, charitable planning, and tax-exempt organizations. Jessie has significant experience advising clients on a variety of philanthropic issues, including the development and implementation of charitable giving strategies, structuring and negotiating charitable gifts, and the formation and operation of various tax-exempt organizations. Jessie is admitted to practice in Georgia state courts, Florida state courts, the United States Tax Court, and the United States Supreme Court. Jessie is currently serving as Treasurer of the Atlanta Estate Planning Council and as Vice-Chair of the Legislative and Regulatory Issues Committee of the Charitable Planning and Organizations Group of the Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section of the American Bar Association. She previously served on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Planned Giving Council and was a participant in the 2017-2018 Philanthropic Advisor Leadership Institute. Jessie received her B.S., cum laude, in Political Science from Florida State University in 2003 and her J.D. from the Wake Forest University School of Law in 2006, where she was an Articles Editor of the Wake Forest Law Review and Marshall of the Moot Court Board. She is currently serving on the Board of Visitors of the Wake Forest University School of Law.
