Michael Carmean

Michael Carmean is the President of ISU Paragon and the CEO of ISU First Health Exchange. He develops the company's marketing vision, establishes sales promotions while managing the company's sales objectives. He has been a fixture in the Georgia insurance community for 25+ years. Carmean is a leader known for his health insurance and employee benefit expertise in large multiple location employers. Carmean brings an extensive background in enrollment technology, specialty products and partially self-funded health plans. He is considered an expert on healthcare reform and within ISU First Health Exchange. Carmean is an active participant in the changing world of health insurance and has been interviewed on Capitol Hill by MSNBC with Representative Harold Ford Jr., awarded the GAHU Presidential Award for outstanding service, President of the Georgia Association of Health Underwriters. Carmean has addressed the full Georgia Senate on healthcare and in 2012 was awarded the Kathy Cruce Memorial Health Underwriter of the Year by the Georgia Association of Health Underwriters naming him Georgia Health Insurance Agent of the Year.
