Partner Stephanie S. Perkins Esq.

Stephanie specializes in representing a wide variety of business clients including accounting firms and their personnel in matters involving accountant malpractice, professional liability, employment and commercial business advising and litigation, and regulatory defense. She also devotes a significant portion of her practice to assisting clients in developing loss prevention strategies and managing the day-to-day issues related to the operation of the clients' business or practice. She has authored numerous publications relating to accountant's liability and employment best practices matters. She has also been a profiled speaker and panelist at numerous seminars and presentations pertaining to accounting liability, risk management, loss prevention, and employment practices, and she has taught employment practices courses for the California Society of CPAs. She attended California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1984. In 1987, she earned her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. She was admitted to the State Bar of California and the Bar of the United States District Court for the Central District of California in 1987. She is also admitted to the Bar of the United States District Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California.
