Faye Hargrove

Faye Hargrove is an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist performance coach and author of the book, BETTER CHOICES (www.betterchoicesbook.com). In 1998, Faye left higher education and launched her consulting firm, Hargrove Leadership Services in Evans, Georgia. The firm focuses on coaching and developing leaders in diverse organizations. Faye received the PH.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology in 1987 from the University of Georgia. In addition to corporate management positions, she previously served as a faculty member in the School of Business at Georgia College (now Georgia College and State University). She and her husband, Clarence Williams, Jr., moved to Augusta in 1987 and she took a position as faculty member in the School of Business Adminstration and Economics at USC Aiken. She served as Head of the School for five years before moving on to assume the role of Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs at Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina followed by her position as Vice President for Student Development at Bennett College for Women in Greensboro, North Carolina. Faye continues to maintain her ties to the academic world as a part-time instructor in the Masters in Public Administration (MPA) program at Augusta State University. Faye is strongly committed to serving her community. She is currently on the Board of Trustees for the Augusta Museum of History, The Boards of Directors for the Community Foundation of the CSRA, the United Way of the CSRA and Women in Philanthropy. She is a member of the Women in Business Committee of the Metro Augusta Chamber of Commerce, the Steering Committee for Leadership Columbia County and the Augusta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Faye is also a volunteer executive coach and trainer for nonprofit organizations in the CSRA.
