Mike Stroble

Mike Stroble is a manager in the Dixon Hughes Healthcare Consulting group. Mike has over thirty seven years of performance improvement experience, including twenty five years in healthcare. His areas of focus include comparative data analysis, staff planning, position control, productivity management and operations improvement utilizing lean methodologies. He has experience working in both for-profit and not-for-profit hospitals. Mike has extensive experience in all aspects of productivity management, from identifying opportunities for improvement, to re-designing processes, implementing solutions and developing and installing productivity management systems. He also has experience in training executives and department managers in optimizing staff utilization and developing staffing plans. Prior to joining Dixon Hughes, Mike was a manager in healthcare advisory services for KPMG. He has also been a manager in consulting services for VHA and a division director of management engineering for HCA. Before that, he was a regional director of clinical and operations improvement with Premier. He also has experience establishing and leading management engineering programs for several hospitals across the U.S. Mike received his Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management with an area concentration in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University. He completed advanced training in Industrial Engineering (Lean Methodologies) with Michelin Tire Corporation in Stoke-on-Trent, England. He is a Fellow in the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society and is a Senior Member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers/Society for Health Systems.
