John Trussel is the Foundation Chair and Professor of Accounting at Dalton State College. He received his Master of accounting and Ph.D. from George Washington University in Washington, DC. Prior to coming to Dalton State, he was an associate professor at Penn State Harrisburg. He has three years of experience in public accounting, as an auditor senior for Deloitte. His research interests include financial management of nonprofit organizations and local governments. He lives in Chattanooga with his wife and two children.
