Rod has a background of over 20 years of combined experience in public accounting and private industry and has performed business valuations for companies operating in a wide variety of industries. He works extensively in valuations for gift and estate tax planning, purchase/sale transactions, marital dissolution proceedings, and related litigation support matters. Since 1996, Mr. Burkert has been a lead instructor for the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, which presents professional education courses on business valuations at training centers throughout the United States. Mr. Burkert is a frequent lecturer on valuation matters, has authored several business valuation articles which have appeared in various professional journals, and has developed continuing professional education programs in the areas of business valuation.
