Donna Heavener is the Associate Executive Director of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA). As such, Donna is responsible for the member services department, the IT department and the CPE department and works closely with the board, council, committees and sections. She has been with the Society since 2001. Donna served as the director of the membership and public relations for the Maryland Association of Realtors from 1991-2001 where she managed the membership and public relations activities of the organization. Donna's experience also includes positions with the Arthritis Foundation national office and the American Lung Association in South Carolina. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations. Donna is a member of the Georgia Society of Association Executives and the American Society of Association Executives. She serves on the advisory board of The Friend's House.
