Scott R. Whalen, CPA
Scott Whalen, CPA Scott is a Partner in the Tax Services group. He began his career in public accounting through an internship with the firm in 2008 and joined the staff shortly afterwards. Scott is a long-standing member of the firm's manufacturing/distribution and technology teams. Beyond his specialization in those two industry areas, he also works with clients across the entertainment, hospitality, staffing and transportation industries. Scott focuses on clients with international tax issues in addition to providing accounting method expertise alongside transaction advisory services. Scott received his Bachelor of Science from Georgia Tech and his Master of Taxation from Georgia State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Scott is a passionate world traveler outside of tax seasons. While in Atlanta, he and his wife can be found enjoying live music along with Atlanta's diverse restaurant scene.
