Thomas A. Buckhoff, CPA, CFF, CFE
Thomas Buckhoff is Associated Professor of Accounting at Georgia Southern University. Prior to joining the GSU faculty, Dr. Buckhoff was Manager/Senior Forensic Accountant for Fraudwise, a division of Eide Bailly, LLP. He received his bachelors and master of Accountancy degrees from Brigham Young University and his ph.D. from the University of Kentucky. From 1996-2003, Dr. Buckhoff taught both graduate and undergraduate courses in fraud examination, advanced fraud examination, and financial accounting at North Dakota State University. In 2001, he was endowed with the Eide Bailly Presidential Professorship in Forensic Accounting for "teaching and scholarship...deemed to be exemplary." In 2002 Dr. Buckhoff was awarded tenure and promoted to Associate Professor at NDSU. He is a CPE and a CFE.
