Barbara J. Grant, CPA, MST, CVA
Barbara J. Grant, CPA is a principal with Gates, Moore & Company, a healthcare management consulting and accounting firm in Atlanta, Georgia. She has over 25 years of experience representing physicians in such areas as financial management, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, compensation arrangements, buy-sell agreements, tax planning, and billing systems and procedures. She also performs practice valuations, recruits practice administrators, and facilitates physician retreats. Barbara is a certified public accountant. She holds a BS degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland and a Masters in Taxation from Southeastern University. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Georgia Society of CPAs and the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). She has written articles and is a frequent lecturer for the MGMA and others on topics affecting physicians.
