In the pest management business since 1977, about 34 years. Experiences: 1) Has hired and fired about 250 persons in 33 years. He kept a list. 2) Made just about every mistake you can make in life and in business. Current Duties: Plan training opporutnities, meetings, people development, and community relations for our organization. Assist other entrepreneurs and company owners plan their strategy and execute it. Advise business owners about transitions in ownership or acquisition. Operate management retreats, The Great Workplace and the 85% Solutions Seminars. My main job at work is 1)Leadership, culture and strategy 2) business controls and company sturcture 3) operation 4) people and leadership development. His father, Larry Annis was also on the GSPCC in 1959) Elected President: Georgia Pest Control Association - 1985 (Jeff was the youngest person to ever hold that post - at 29 years old. His father, Larry Annis, had been president of the GPCA previously) Elected commodore: National MC Sailing Association 2008-2010 Elected Commodore: Augusta Sailing Club 1982 (Jeff was the youngest person ever to hold that post. His father had done that too.) Corporate Walk Chairman: Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Light the Night Walk 2006 Augusta, GA Corporate Walk Top Fundraiser: L&L Light the Night Walk, 2009 Advanced Services has raised more than $40,000 for Light the Night since 1996.) Hobbies: Sailboat Racing: since childhood, MC Scow Masters Division National Champion 2008, participate in about 20 events per year nationwide. Golf: Caddie for many years part-time at ANGC Tennis: competes in local leagues and state championship tournaments Pilot: in flight trainign school to become a private pilot. If he did not do this work what would he do: He would coach entrepreneurs about how to succeed in business without ruining their lives. I would train people how to take 6 weeks a year off and be more successful than they have ever been. Something else: We have our own radio talk show called the Advanced Home Care Show on WGAC 580 AM in our marketplace.
