Mark I. Murovitz, CPA, MBA

Mark is a retired practitioner; he practiced in an international accounting firm for twenty years and in a local firm for twenty three years. Mark is currently an adjunct instructor in the MPA program at Georgia State University. He regularly teaches the Advanced Assurance class and has taught Managerial Accounting, Financial Statement Analysis and Principles of Accounting. He taught programs for the Georgia Society of CPAs, other state CPA associations and for both the international and local firms he served as a partner. He taught Accounting and Auditing Updates for his firms and other CPA organizations. Mark practiced as an auditor, his experience includes: public, private and nonprofit organizations. Mark served as an expert in accounting and auditing in litigation matters including, Enron and Adelphia. Mark holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Charleston and an MBA from Emory University. He holds an active CPA license in Georgia.
