James E. Garverick
James E. Garverick is associated with Garverick McCoy Tax Seminars, Inc., a firm specializing in CPE course development. He serves on the staff of the School of Accountancy at Auburn University and is a practicing CPA. Jim has served the accounting profession as a nationally recognized CPE discussion leader for many years. He earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Delta State University and a master's degree in accounting from Kent State University. He is a member of the AICPA and the South Carolina Association of CPAs. Jim has a unique ability to translate complex tax concepts into easily understood terms. He has received many awards and recognition from state societies and the AICPA.
