Charles R. Beaudrot, J.D.

Charles R. Beaudrot, Jr. is a senior partner in the tax section of the Atlanta law firm of Morris, Manning & Martin, L.L.P. Mr. Beaudrot's areas of expertise include corporate and partnership tax, transactional tax planning, state tax planning and federal and state controversy work. Mr. Beaudrot is a frequent speaker for a variety of organizations including the Institute for Continuing Legal Education, the Georgia Federal Tax Conference, Practicing Law Institute, the North Atlantic Tax Council, Lorman Education Services and other programs and seminars and has served as an editorial advisor to The Southeastern Tax Alert. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta and American Bar Associations. He is past president of the Atlanta Tax Forum and has previously served as Chair of the Taxation Section of the State Bar of Georgia, Chair and Director of the Atlanta Bar Association Tax Section, and President of the North Atlanta Tax Council. He currently serves as Chair of the Partnership and LLC Committee of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia and he was a member of the Limited Liability Company Drafting Committee responsible for Georgia's Limited Liability Company Act and the Limited Liability Partnership Amendments. He is also a member of the Committee on Legal Opinions for the Business Law Section of the State Bar and the Joint Liaison Committee with the Georgia Department of Revenue. Mr. Beaudrot is co-author of Georgia LLC/LLP Handbook, and the section of limited liability companies in Georgia Jurisprudence: Corporations, Other Business Organizations and Securities Regulations. He received his B.A. degree from Duke University, summa cum laude, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Eta Sigma and his J.D. from Harvard University, cum laude.
