Steven Judson Crowell is an author, consultant and lecturer in taxation, specializing in estate planning and business succession planning. He was an assistant professor at Auburn University and was responsible for developing the graduate tax program.
Mr. Crowell is a member of the AICPA and North Carolina Association of
CPAs. He served on the AICPA's Estate & Gift Tax Committee and the Task
Force on Transfer Tax Reform. He is the author of Succession Planning and the
AICPA self-study course Passive Activity Losses and Credits.
Mr. Crowell received his Doctor of Philosophy and Masters degrees from the
University of Georgia and his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of
North Carolina -Chapel Hill.
