Jeff Robinson

Jeff Robinson serves as the Director of Communications for the State of Ohio Board of Regents. In this role, he oversees media relations, social media, and stakeholder communication for one of the largest public university systems in the country. Prior to joining the agency, he served as the public information officer for the City of Powell, Ohio, and spent 15 years in the media, working as a reporter, writer, and editor for daily newspapers, weekly newspapers, and magazines across Ohio. Jeff is also a part-time stand-up comedian who has performed in clubs throughout the Midwest, including the Improv and the Funny Bone. He has worked with such comics as Bobby Collins, Brian Regan, and Bobcat Goldthwait. Jeff is the creator of Comics for a Cure, an annual stand-up comedy show in Delaware, Ohio that benefits the American Cancer Society. The event, which debuted in 2003, has raised more than $150,000 for the fight against cancer.
