Michael K. Gold
Michael Gold focuses his practice in the area of estate planning, business law, probate and tax planning. In addition to being an attorney, Mr. Gold is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). He believes that his financial planning expertise affords him the ability to identify issues and opportunities that his estate planning clients may not have previously considered, and assists him in coordination with clients' other advisors. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Gold was licensed as an investment advisor and registered representative of ING Financial Partners, formerly Washington Square Securities, Inc. He offered investment and insurance services to individuals and small businesses, while also serving as the branch compliance officer. Before joining Ingwersen & Taylor, LLP, Mr. Gold worked with attorneys Randall Holmgren and Matthew Mitton of Jones, Waldo, Holbrook & McDonough PC. Mr. Gold also worked as an expert witness and consultant to the securities industry through Mainstay Capital Markets Consultants, Inc. Mr. Gold is licensed to practice law in the states of Georgia, Florida and Arizona. He is also a member of the Estate Planning and Probate and Tax Law sections of the Atlanta Bar Association. Mr. Gold received his law degree from Brigham Young University after graduating summa cum laude from Arizona State University with a bachelor's degree in Russian. Mr. Gold also holds a Masters of Taxation degree from Georgia State University and is currently working to become a Certified Public Accountant.
