Denise W. Grove, CPA, CGMA
Denise W. Grove, CPA, CGMA is an Entrepreneur, Certified Profit First Professional cash flow management specialist, Dave Ramsey Personal Financial Coach, and an Auburn University Harbert Business School accounting graduate. Denise shares practical advice with down-to-earth explanations, increasing financial understanding with emphasis on consequences and sustainability. Her outsourced CFO practice primarily focuses on privately held family- and women-owned businesses reaching their financial goals. In addition to group training, consulting, and philanthropic volunteering, Denise is a frequent speaker and writer working toward her life legacy goal of improving others' financial wisdom. Denise also coaches Profit First Professional Members as a Guide (Coach). Her training career began at KPMG where she trained staff nationally in addition to developing Department of Professional Practice (NYC) firm wide computer audit policy. Denise’s experiences blend ‘Big Four’, Fortune 500, philanthropic, and privately held organizations. She comes highly recommended as a teacher who guides others towards stable money management and finances, leaving them to focus on what they do best – manage their business, organization, and life! Denise is community active in a variety financial literacy and life-long learning endeavors such as Auburn University Women’s Philanthropy Board (Finance Committee Chair) plus supporting our CPA profession. Her CPA volunteer service includes, but is not limited to, past service on AICPA Council and GSCPA leadership roles such as statewide Board of Directors, CPAs in Industry Chair, CPE Committee Chair, Financial Literacy Task Force, and local Atlanta Chapter leadership. She currently serves on the GSCPA Leadership Advisory Council. In 2012, Denise was honored to be recognized as the GSCPA Outstanding Member in Industry. Denise & her husband live near Newnan, GA. Her “Do Good” mission is to leave people and situations better than how she found them.
