G B. Jones, CPA
G. Bliss Jones has been in public accounting since 1976, and his experience includes nine years with an international firm and a year as the Chief Financial Officer of a financially distressed public company before joining Jones and Kolb in 1986. His practice is directed primarily toward real estate, not-for-profit organizations and privately held commercial businesses. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Georgia. Bliss is a member of the AICPA, the Georgia Society of CPAs, and the American Society of Association Executives. He serves on the Georgia Society's Assurance Services Executive Committee and regularily teaches various CPE courses. He is also a frequent speaker on financial and tax topics and is the coordinator for the Tax Exempt Association (TEA) Group, a monthly round table discussion group focusing on accounting, tax and administrative issues faced by nonprofit organizations.
