Legislative Representation
The GSCPA monitors State and Federal legislation regarding all matters affecting the accounting profession. Working with the Georgia Department of Revenue, the Society sponsors legislation that provides a positive impact on businesses and consumers in Georgia. The Society also opens the lines of communication between the IRS and GSCPA members and regularly provides feedback on the accuracy of their notices. The Society regularly meets with our Representatives and Congressmen in Washington, DC to discuss issues that impact the accounting profession.
