About the Forensic & Valuation Services Section
Section Mission:
To help GSCPA members enhance and promote their capabilities in the multi-disciplined field of Forensic and Valuation Services (FVS).
Section Goals:
1. Provide high-quality educational and networking opportunities for GSCPA members to improve their FVS capabilities
2. Help attorneys, judges, business-owners, non-FVS GSCPA members, and others understand how and when to utilize or refer FVS professionals
3. Become the preeminent state CPA Society-sponsored organization in the Southeastern U.S. for the development of FVS skills for CPAs
4. Build and maintain an organization structure, leadership team and succession plan that allows the Section to effectively serve practitioners in all FVS disciplines
This group's activities and programming are monitored and put into motion by the Forensic & Valuation Services Section Leadership Team. Forensic & Valuation Services Section Divisions
The Forensic and Valuation Services Section Divisions hold roundtable meetings at the GSCPA office. Each meeting generally runs from 7:30 - 9:30 a.m. and includes a featured discussion topic and opportunity for members to discuss current trends, case studies, questions and concerns. These meetings are a great, FREE way for members to stay connected with other CPA professionals who share the same specialization and to learn how to better serve clients.
