Cash for Professional Awareness

The Educational Foundation of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants is introducing an initiative at Georgia colleges and universities to fund programming that increases accounting awareness among collegiate students. The Inaugural C.P.A. (Cash for Professional Awareness) Initiative has been established. With the fiscal challenges facing many institutions of higher education, the Educational Foundation of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants will provide dollar-for- dollar funding for approved accounting awareness programs. The program's goal is to expand the ability of accounting programs to positively influence college students' perceptions about a career in accounting.
