  Annual Convention 

  The 2011 Annual Convention will be held at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island on June 26-29, 2010. More details will be sent out at a later date.

  • The Hospitality Committee sends all new members a dinner gift letter which entitles them to one free meal.
  • An Executive Committee meets for about an hour for breakfast at 7:00 a.m. on a morning that follows the monthly chapter meeting. If you wish to become active in Chapter management, you will become a member of this Committee.

  On April 22, 2010 The North Atlanta Chapter awarded two scholarships of $1,500 each to two Kennesaw State University students.  The Dean of the School of Business, Dr. Ken Harmon, CPA, Ph. D made a presentation to our Chapter about the history, growth and potential of KSU and a panel of 9 Kennesaw State University students also presented a study of timely professional topics.

  Our chapter meets monthly at the Windy Hill Doubletree Hotel in Cobb County on the third Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m.  The meeting consists of networking, two hours of CPE credit and a buffet dinner.

   

  

     

   

   

   

   

   

   

   

   

   

  

  The plaques pictured above are posted at Kennesaw State University. The suite and resource center were dedicated in 1993 and commemorate the model relationship the North Atlanta Chapter of the Georgia Society of CPAs and Kennesaw State University have with each other.

   

  

  The North Atlanta Chapter of the Georgia Society of CPAs donates proceeds of the 2010 Annual A&A Seminar to Kennesaw State University's School of Accountancy.
